Welcome to
Christ First Inverness
Christ First are a group of friends who are looking to demonstrate the practical love of God to Inverness by sharing the good news of Jesus.
The group was started by Terry and Liz McGovern. Terry and Liz moved to Inverness from Watford where they had been involved in church leadership for over 20 years.
They are passionate about helping people discover the transforming effect of Jesus' life and teaching.
In addition to their Watford links Christ First Inverness are connected to King's church Edinburgh through regular visits and input from Matthew and Ann Clifton-Brown.

Every Sunday we gather at the Old Ferry Ticket Office in South Kessock, from 12:00-1:30. We serve tea and coffee to anyone who pops in for a visit.
We share the life changing story of Jesus with each other and with those who want to find out more about Him.

Christ First
Transforming Lives
Building Community
We use these 3 statements to describe our mission as a church in following Jesus on the adventure of faith.
We put Christ First in every area of our lives and live in a way that demonstrates that Jesus is more important to us than anything or anyone else. Christ is first in our lives, our church, our homes and our town.
We see the good news of Jesus Christ Transforming Lives as it is clearly taught and practically demonstrated to those around us. This good news still has the same power to transform lives as it did 2000 years ago.
We are Building Community that welcomes everyone and celebrates our diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Creating an environment where people can hear the practical and life changing message of Jesus in an accessible way.
We are linked to King's church Edinburgh, Christ First Watford who are part of the New Ground family of NewFrontiers Churches. You can find out more by clicking the links below.
